Halloween story: Bloodsucker
Bloodsucker
From the author
You know, that vampire, the blood sucking creature, has been both terrifying and fascinating people for centuries. Scary tales including vampire stories are perfect to be told on the occasion of Halloween. You can invite your friends too. It will make the storytelling more fun for you.
Once upon a time a beautiful girl, named Elizabeth, lived in the village near London. She loved her father very much as her mother died long-long ago and her father brought her up himself.
Just across the road from their house was an ancient house. Local people used to say that one can hear screeching of a bat from inside the home and many people saw the shadow of a tall and slender man in the window. The bats seemed to love that place. Some people thought that a real vampire lived in this house. Recently people began to disappear. Later they were found dead near that house. All of them had two marks of a bite on the neck. Moreover, their eyes were wide open.
One day Elizabeth felt herself unwell. She became pale and weak. She did not want to do anything. Her father was worried about her and called the doctor. After the examination of Elizabeth doctor became mournful and stern. He said to father that he found two bite-marks on Elizabeth’s neck like from some animal and he said that she lost a lot of blood. Her father asked the doctor whether they could do anything but the doctor said that only one night left to live for his daughter and he added: “Today at night go to your daughter’s room and you will see.”
The father did as the doctor said and imagine how he was surprised when he saw a tall, pale as a ghost, but very handsome man, holding his daughter’s neck and sucking her blood. The stranger was frightened off by the interruption. Next morning Elizabeth was dead. The doctor advised to drive a stake in her heart for her to be rescued and find peace.
Since that time nobody saw that man and nobody knew what or who he was: a vampire or a man? How do you think?
Halloween poems
Halloween night is sure to give you a fright,
All the ghosts and monsters are in sight,
One by one they go up the stairs,
Freaky and disturbing they give you nightmares.
Halloween Monsters
There is a vampire at my window,
A goblin by my door.
The Jack-o'-lantern at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.
After the ball
After the ball was over
Mary took out her glass eye
Put her false teeth in some water
Hung up her wig to dry.
Put her peg leg in the corner
Hung her wax ear on the wall
That’s why you’d never know Mary

Painting styles
Street art is any art developed in public spaces — that is, "in the streets" — though the term usually refers to unsanctioned art, as opposed to government sponsored initiatives. The term can include traditional graffiti artwork, sculpture, stencil graffiti, sticker art and street poster art, video projection, art intervention, guerrilla art, flash mobbing and street installations. Typically, the term street art or the more specific post-graffiti is used to distinguish contemporary public-space artwork from territorial graffiti, vandalism, and corporate art.Melbourne, Australia is home to one of the world's most active and diverse street art cultures and is home to pioneers in the stencil medium. Street artists such as Blek le Rat and Banksy often exhibited works on Melbourne 's streets in the 2000s. Works are supported and preserved by local councils. Key locations within the city include Brunswick, Carlton, Fitzroy, Northcote, and the city centre including the famous Hosier Lane.
On May 13, 2011, LAB ART Los Angeles opened the world's largest art gallery dedicated to street art on La Brea. Spanning6,500 square feet (600 m2 ) of space, LAB ART Los Angeles features over 300 works of art and installation from over 30 street artists including Alec Monopoly, Thank You X and Smear.
I think, street art can be a powerful platform for reaching the public that’s why frequent themes are adbusting, subvertising and other culture jamming, the abolishment of private property and reclaiming the streets. Some street artists use "smart vandalism" as a way to raise awareness of social and political issues. In most cases the artists try to reach a much broader audience than traditional artwork and galleries normally allow.
Superflat is a postmodern art movement, founded by the artist Takashi Murakami, which is influenced by manga and anime. It is also the name of a 2001 art exhibition, curated by Murakami, that toured West Hollywood, Minneapolis and Seattle.
"Superflat" is used by Murakami to refer to various flattened forms in Japanese graphic art, animation, pop culture and fine arts, as well as the “shallow emptiness of Japanese consumer culture”.
Artists whose work is regarded as “Superflat” include Chiho Aoshima, Mahomi Kunikata, Sayuri Michima, Yoshitomo Nara, Tatsuyuki Tanaka, Aya Takano and Takashi Murakami.

Often the works explore the consumerism and sexual fetishism that is prevalent in post-war Japanese culture. Other works are more concerned with a fear of growing up.
Music and dance styles
Jumpstyle is a rave dance and electronic music genre mainly practiced in Europe, specifically Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany and northern France. The dance is also called Jumpen. Jumpstyle also refers to a style of music to which Jumpstyle can be performed. Artists like Captain Ahab, Patrick Jumpen, SpringStil and S-Styl33 are becoming more popular internationally.
It did not have the name “Jumpstyle” when it was first introduced to the world, but it underwent a significant change in the Netherlands in the early 2003. After it changed its name from jump to jumpstyle, it was reintroduced by many European electronica dance clubs and the ones who were interested in the electronic music dances in general. Also, many people found out about it through search engines online like Yahoo or Google. In 2005 to later years, there were European electronica groups such as Scooter (German band) that came out with Jumpstyle music and dances.
Trance is a genre of electronic dance music, generally characterized by a tempo of between 125 and 150 bpm, repeating melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and breaks down throughout a track. It is a combination of many forms of music such as techno, house, industrial, new age, pop, chill-out, ambient, electronic art music, classical music, and film music. It is usually more melodic than techno, and the harder styles usually have harder beats than house.
The most popular DJs in the world often played Trance music: Sasha (2000), John Digweed (2001), Tiësto (2002–2004), Paul van Dyk (2005–2006), and Armin van Buuren (2007–2010).
Uplifting trance is very popular too. Uplifting trance has buildups and breakdowns that are longer and more exaggerated, being more direct and less subtle than progressive, with more easily identifiable tunes and anthems. To my mind, many trance tracks follow a set form, featuring an introduction, steady build, a breakdown, and then an anthem, a form aptly called the "build-breakdown-anthem" form. But uplifting vocals, usually female, are becoming more and more prevalent, adding to trance's popular appeal.
Krumping, also spelled Krumpin, is a street dance popularized in the United States that is characterized by free, expressive, exaggerated, and highly energetic movement involving the arms, head, legs, chest, and feet.
There are four primary moves in krump: jabs, arm swings, chest pops, and stomps. Krumping is rarely choreographed; it is almost entirely freestyle (improvisational) and is danced most frequently in battles or sessions rather than on a stage. Krumping is different stylistically from other hip-hop dance styles such as b-boying and turfing. Krumping is very aggressive and is danced upright to upbeat and fast-paced music, where as b-boying is more acrobatic and is danced on the floor to break beats.
It is sometimes spelled K.R.U.M.P., which is a backronym for Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise, presenting krumping as a faith-based artform. Krumping was created by two dancers: Ceasare (pronounced CHEZ-a-ray) "Tight Eyez" Willis and Jo'Artis "Big Mijo" Ratti in South Central, Los Angeles, California during the early 2000s. Krumping has appeared in several music videos including Madonna's "Hung Up", Missy Elliott's "I'm Really Hot", The Black Eyed Peas' "Hey Mama", and Chemical Brothers "Galvanize".
As for me, krumping is an attempt for the youths to escape gang life and to release anger, aggression and frustration positively, in a non-violent way. Moreover it is a good chance for young people to enjoy their time and to do something really pleasant.

Purposes of art
Art has had a great number of different functions throughout its history, but as for me, the following are the most important:
1. Experience of the mysterious. Art provides a way to experience one's self in relation to the universe. We can find something important to us and we'll maybe find the truth among mysterious things.
2. Expression of the imagination. Art provides a range of forms, symbols and ideas with meanings that are maleable. Art provides means to express the imagination in non-grammatic ways that are not tied to the formality of spoken or written language.
3. Communication. Art, at its simplest, is a form of communication.
4. Art as entertainment. Art may seek to bring about a particular emotion or mood, for the purpose of relaxing or entertaining the viewer. The paintings of skilled painters are appreciated and admired by millions of people today, by those who can see the beauty.
5. Art for propaganda, or commercialism. Art is often used as a form of propaganda of some ideas or conceptions. We can influence other people's views too.
The meaning of art
Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses , emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literatute, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings.
Britannica Online defines art as "the use of skill and imagination in the creation of aesthetic objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others." The first and broadest sense of art is the one that has remained closest to the older Latin meaning, which roughly translates to "skill" or "craft.
As for me, I think, that "art" is the combination of talent and technique. The word "art" has a special meaning. It means something beautiful, wonderful and somewhat amazing. There are many types of art (literature, cinema, music). But, first of all, art means "creation", because in the process of creation only people achieve their main goal - to be happy and to give this happiness to other people.
