Halloween story: Bloodsucker

Bloodsucker
From the author
You know, that vampire, the blood sucking creature, has been both terrifying and fascinating people for centuries. Scary tales including vampire stories are perfect to be told on the occasion of Halloween. You can invite your friends too. It will make the storytelling more fun for you.

Once upon a time a beautiful girl, named Elizabeth, lived in the village near London. She loved her father very much as her mother died long-long ago and her father brought her up himself.
Just across the road from their house was an ancient house. Local people used to say that one can hear screeching of a bat from inside the home and many people saw the shadow of a tall and slender man in the window. The bats seemed to love that place. Some people thought that a real vampire lived in this house. Recently people began to disappear. Later they were found dead near that house. All of them had two marks of a bite on the neck. Moreover, their eyes were wide open.
One day Elizabeth felt herself unwell. She became pale and weak. She did not want to do anything. Her father was worried about her and called the doctor. After the examination of Elizabeth doctor became mournful and stern. He said to father that he found two bite-marks on Elizabeth’s neck like from some animal and he said that she lost a lot of blood. Her father asked the doctor whether they could do anything but the doctor said that only one night left to live for his daughter and he added: “Today at night go to your daughter’s room and you will see.”
The father did as the doctor said and imagine how he was surprised when he saw a tall, pale as a ghost, but very handsome man, holding his daughter’s neck and sucking her blood. The stranger was frightened off by the interruption. Next morning Elizabeth was dead. The doctor advised to drive a stake in her heart for her to be rescued and find peace.
Since that time nobody saw that man and nobody knew what or who he was: a vampire or a man? How do you think?

Halloween poems

Halloween Night
Halloween night is sure to give you a fright,
All the ghosts and monsters are in sight,
One by one they go up the stairs,
Freaky and disturbing they give you nightmares.

Halloween Monsters
There is a vampire at my window,
A goblin by my door.
The Jack-o'-lantern at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.

After the ball

After the ball was over
Mary took out her glass eye
Put her false teeth in some water
Hung up her wig to dry.

Put her peg leg in the corner
Hung her wax ear on the wall
That’s why you’d never know Mary
After the ball.
